Roger could often be found reading and he was passionate about art, history, photography and animals, especially his golden retrievers Beau and Meghan. Roger and Rose recently moved to Fonthill where Roger enjoyed relaxing in their courtyard with an Ice Capp. Prior to moving, they lived on the Niagara Escarpment in Grimsby with their pets where they spent 24 years overlooking the stunning beauty of the Toronto skyline. In his earlier days Roger worked in banking for many years. He owned a small brokerage firm in Toronto before moving back to North Bay where he owned the Commador Hotel. He then returned to Toronto and worked in syndication at ScotiaMcLeod for 25 years before retiring at 65.
Rose would like to thank the paramedics and police for their compassion and support on-site as well as family, friends and neighbours for their continued love and kindness.
